Born in Zimbabwe, Michelle came to England with a production and remained here working as an actress and an artist. She’s spent many winters in India where she met the Indian Futures team and, along with them, planted the first seed in what one day would become Art Apart. Although she experiments with pretty much every imaginable material, her Art Apart works consist mainly of acrylics on canvas and glicee.
