Xavier de Sousa
Xavier de Sousa is a performance maker and culture worker based between Brighton and Lisbon. His practice explores personal and political heritage within the context of discourse on belonging, nationalism and migration. Through theatrical, durational performance and moving image, he explores the dichotomies between the live experience and agency in the performance space, as well as written text and queer methodologies of performance and research.
Xavier is currently developing a trilogy of works about belonging and power structures and he curates the digital live art programme performingbordersLIVE and New Queers on the Block, The Marlborough Theatre’s Touring and Artist Development Programme. He is co-Director of the digital live art platform performing borders and co-founder of activist group Migrants in Culture.
Xavier is a member of the BECTU union and the Independent Theatre Council

Amy Zamarripa Solis
Amy Zamarripa Solis is a producer, writer and artist. Her project No Place Like Home explores childhood home and its loss, starting with her own Mexican-American community in Austin, Texas.
She is Director of This Too Is Real, an arts production and management company, specialising in arts, culture, heritage and diversity. She is also founder and Chair of Writing Our Legacy – a literature organisation focused on supporting Black and ethnic minority writers and writing in the South East of England.
