Artist statement

I’ve been developing my photography style, learning new skills as a visual artist over the last 5 years. My main focus is portraiture, producing images for artists in the performing arts. I love photographing people both candidly and posed - capturing their emotions, personality and style! I also enjoy photographing Brighton’s colourful blend of life, land and seascapes and am thrilled to be part of the Pixel Gallery.

In my early career, I worked in the media/arts and entertainment industries in London as a model booker, actors talent agent/scout, as well as working on fashion/lifestyle publications ES & Stella Magazines. I trained in Fashion & Design in London and more recently studied photography/editing & design at the Brighton MET.

I was lucky enough to officially photograph my lifelong idol, Kylie Minogue - and Grace Jones at Brighton & Hove Pride in 2019. I’ve also produced covers and content for (G)Scene (local LGBTQ+ magazine) and worked with Sussex Life Magazine.

Artist biography

I’m always learning new skills and have tried my hand in many genres of photography, from local celebrities such as Miss Jason to charity & events for the Martin Fisher Foundation & World Aids Day. I love to travel and hope to explore and photograph more of the world - oh and of course an album cover for Kylie!
